TELIKOU WS-4A 4-wire substation
I. Introduction
Thank you for choosing TELIKOU intercom product. The WS-4A is a two channel 4-Wire speaker station. It adopts wired connection. The system is stable and reliable. Full-duplex communication has clear and loud sound quantity.
II. Basic operations
1. Headset connector
4-Pin Male XLR / 5-Pin Female XLR connector
Earphone: Dynamic 50-2000 ohm
Microphone: Dynamic 100-600 ohm
The connector wiring is as follows:
Pin 1 -- Mic common
Pin 2 -- Mic hot
Pin 3 -- headphone common
Pin 4 -- headphone hot
Pin 5 -- Null
2. Panel Mic Connector
WS-4A uses a double-purpose connector which supports XLR plug or 1/4inch plug unbalanced microphone.
The wiring of 3-pin XLR microphone is as follows:
Pin 1 -- Mic common
Pin 2 -- Mic hot
Pin 3 -- Null
WS-4A-Q uses an internal microphone.
3. Listen Button (Listen)
PTT: Hold the button and listen, when finish listening, release the button.
Latching: Quick press listen button will latch the listening status.
Press again the listen button, will release the listen status.
4. Talk Button (Talk)
PTT: Hold the button and talk, when finish talking, release the button.
Latching: Quick press talk button will latch the talking status.
Press again the talk button, will release the talking status.
5. Listening Indicator
When listen button is on listening status, this LED indicator lights green.
6. Talking Indicator
When talk button is on talking status, this LED indicator lights green.
7. Channel Select Switch
WS-4A allows two different 4-wire systems are connected with station.
This switch selects which external system is being used.
8. Speaker Switch
The Speaker Switch turns the panel speaker ON or OFF
9. Listen Level Control
This control adjust the audio level which heard from headset and speaker.
10. Mic Select Switch
Set the Mic select switch to select whether the panel microphone or the headset microphone is active.

III. Installation and cable
WS-4A supplies two different product types:
Wall mount or desktop case.
Front panel size: (W)210mm x (H)114mm x (D)3.5mm
A hole of size 185mm wide, 82mm high and 54mm deep is required for the installation of wall mount type WS-4A. Four 5mm fix holes are set evenly. The distance between any two holes is 144mm on width direction and 92mm on height direction.
