TERMS OF USE AND SALE
Last updated: 24 August 2026
These Terms of Use and Sale (“Terms”) apply to your access to and use of www.lachmi.sg and to enquiries, quotations, orders and purchases made from Lachmi Enterprise (S) Pte Ltd (“Lachmi Enterprise”, “we”, “us” or “our”).
By using this website, submitting an enquiry, accepting a quotation or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you are acting for a company or another organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organisation.
- ABOUT LACHMI ENTERPRISE
Lachmi Enterprise is a Singapore business established in 1975. We supply professional broadcast equipment, Pro AV products, DJI drones, consumer electronics, digital photography equipment and related accessories to B2B, B2C, D2C, wholesale and international customers.
- WEBSITE INFORMATION
We take reasonable care to keep product descriptions, specifications, images, prices and availability accurate. However:
• Product images may be for illustration only.
• Colours may appear differently depending on the customer’s screen.
• Accessories shown in an image are not included unless expressly stated.
• Manufacturers may change product specifications, packaging or included accessories without notice.
• Typographical, technical or pricing errors may occasionally occur.
We may correct errors or update website information at any time. Customers should confirm important specifications, compatibility, included accessories, price and availability with us before purchasing.
- PRODUCT AVAILABILITY
All products are subject to availability. A product appearing on our website does not guarantee that stock is immediately available.
Customers should contact us to confirm:
• Current stock availability
• Final price
• Product specifications and compatibility
• Estimated delivery or collection date
• Warranty coverage
• Export availability, where applicable
We may limit quantities or decline an enquiry or order where stock is unavailable, a product has been discontinued, pricing is incorrect, payment cannot be verified, export restrictions apply or we reasonably suspect fraud or misuse.
- PRICES AND GST
Unless otherwise stated, prices are quoted in Singapore Dollars.
Singapore Goods and Services Tax (“GST”) will be charged at the prevailing rate where applicable. The applicable GST treatment and final amount payable will be stated in the quotation, invoice, checkout page or order confirmation.
Prices, promotions, shipping charges and availability may change without notice. A price displayed on the website does not constitute a binding offer where it is incorrect, outdated or subject to stock and supplier confirmation.
For export transactions, zero-rating of GST applies only where the transaction satisfies applicable Singapore tax requirements and the required export evidence is available. Customers must not assume that every overseas transaction is automatically exempt from GST.
- QUOTATIONS
Unless a quotation states otherwise:
• A quotation is valid only for the period shown on it.
• Price and stock remain subject to final confirmation.
• A quotation does not reserve stock unless we confirm otherwise in writing.
• Manufacturer promotions, currency movements, freight costs and supplier prices may affect the final price after the quotation expires.
Where a written quotation, sales order or invoice contains terms that differ from these website Terms, the written quotation, sales order or invoice will apply to that transaction to the extent of the difference.
- ORDERS AND CONTRACT FORMATION
Product listings and quotations are invitations for customers to place an order and do not by themselves create a binding contract.
An order is accepted only when Lachmi Enterprise:
• Issues written order confirmation or a sales invoice confirming acceptance;
• Confirms receipt of full payment and stock allocation; or
• Dispatches or releases the goods,
whichever occurs first.
An automated website message acknowledging an order does not necessarily mean that the order has been accepted.
We may cancel or reject an order before acceptance if there is a pricing error, stock shortage, payment problem, regulatory restriction, suspected fraud or other reasonable business reason. If payment has already been received for an order that we do not accept, we will refund the applicable amount using a reasonable payment method.
- PAYMENT
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, full payment in cleared funds is required before goods are released, collected or dispatched.
We accept the following payment methods:
• PayNow
• Telegraphic transfer (“TT”) or bank transfer
• Cash, where accepted
• Local Singapore cheque, only with prior approval
Lachmi Enterprise does not accept credit-card or debit-card payments.
Overseas cheques are not accepted. Goods paid for by local cheque will be released only after the cheque has fully cleared. Cheque clearance may take three or more working days, depending on the bank.
Customers are responsible for all bank charges, intermediary-bank fees, currency-conversion costs and other payment-related charges.
For protection against payment fraud, customers should independently verify our bank details directly with Lachmi Enterprise before making payment, especially if they receive any message stating that our bank details have changed. Lachmi Enterprise is not responsible for payments transferred to an incorrect or unauthorised bank account.
- DELIVERY AND SELF-COLLECTION
Delivery and collection dates are estimates unless expressly guaranteed in writing.
For local ready stock, self-collection or delivery will be arranged after full payment has cleared. Multiple orders or transactions made on the same day may be delivered separately depending on stock and logistics arrangements.
Customers must:
• Provide accurate delivery and contact information;
• Ensure that an authorised person is available to receive the goods;
• Check the number and apparent condition of packages upon receipt; and
• Notify us promptly of missing, visibly damaged or incorrect items.
Additional delivery charges may apply for unsuccessful delivery, restricted access, special handling, redelivery or an incorrect address supplied by the customer.
Delays caused by couriers, freight forwarders, customs, suppliers, manufacturers, weather, regulatory checks or other circumstances outside our reasonable control do not automatically entitle the customer to cancel an order or claim compensation.
- TITLE AND RISK
Ownership of goods remains with Lachmi Enterprise until full payment has been received in cleared funds.
Risk of loss or damage passes to the customer when the goods are:
• Delivered to the customer or the customer’s authorised recipient;
• Collected by the customer; or
• Handed to the customer’s appointed carrier or freight forwarder.
This clause does not limit any rights that cannot legally be excluded.
- INTERNATIONAL AND EXPORT ORDERS
International customers are responsible for confirming before ordering that products may lawfully be imported, registered, activated and used in the destination country.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the customer is responsible for:
• Freight and insurance charges
• Import permits and licences
• Customs clearance
• Duties, taxes and government charges
• Product registration and local regulatory approval
• Destination-country frequency, voltage, plug, radio, drone or telecommunications requirements
• Appointing and paying the freight forwarder
Some products, including drones, radio equipment, professional cameras, encryption-enabled products and related technology, may be subject to export controls, sanctions, manufacturer restrictions or destination-country laws. We may refuse or cancel a transaction where legal, regulatory or supplier restrictions apply.
The customer must not request or use products for any unlawful purpose.
- INSPECTION AND REPORTING PROBLEMS
Customers should inspect goods as soon as reasonably possible after delivery or collection.
Please notify us promptly if goods are:
• Incorrect
• Incomplete
• Damaged upon arrival
• Defective
• Materially different from the agreed description
The customer should retain the original packaging, serial-number labels, accessories and proof of purchase while the matter is being assessed. We may request photographs, videos, serial numbers, diagnostic information or inspection by us, the supplier or an authorised service centre.
- RETURNS, EXCHANGES AND REFUNDS
We do not generally accept returns or exchanges merely because a customer changes their mind, orders the wrong item or no longer requires the product.
No product may be returned without our prior written approval and return instructions.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts rights or remedies that a consumer is entitled to under applicable Singapore law. Where goods are defective, do not conform to the contract or were incorrectly supplied, we will assess the matter and provide an appropriate remedy in accordance with applicable law and the circumstances. A remedy may include repair, replacement, exchange, price reduction or refund where legally required or otherwise agreed.
Approved returns must normally be complete and include the original packaging, manuals, accessories, warranty cards, free gifts and proof of purchase. We may reject or reduce a refund where legally permitted if goods have been misused, damaged after delivery, modified, incompletely returned or used beyond what was reasonably necessary to establish their nature and condition.
Special-order, customised, activated, registered, licensed, clearance or sealed products may not be returnable unless defective or otherwise required by law.
- PRODUCT WARRANTIES
Warranty coverage varies by manufacturer, product, country, sales channel and authorised distribution arrangement.
Before purchasing, customers should confirm:
• The warranty period
• Whether the warranty is local, regional or international
• The party responsible for warranty service
• The location of the authorised service centre
• Any registration or proof-of-purchase requirements
Manufacturer warranties are subject to the manufacturer’s own conditions. Warranty coverage may not apply to misuse, accidental damage, unauthorised repair, modification, liquid damage, normal wear and tear, consumable parts or use outside the manufacturer’s specifications.
Nothing in this section limits legal rights that cannot be excluded.
- ACCOUNTS AND WEBSITE SECURITY
Customers are responsible for keeping account credentials confidential and for activity conducted through their accounts.
You must not:
• Use the website unlawfully or fraudulently
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website or another account
• Introduce malware or interfere with website operation
• Scrape, copy or reuse website content without permission
• Submit false information or impersonate another person
• Use the website in a way that infringes another party’s rights
We may suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect the website, our customers or our business.
- INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Unless otherwise stated, the website’s text, layout, graphics, logos and original content belong to Lachmi Enterprise or are used with permission.
Product names, trademarks, images and specifications may belong to their respective manufacturers or owners. Their appearance on this website does not transfer any ownership rights.
Website content may not be reproduced, distributed, modified or used commercially without prior written permission from the relevant rights holder.
- THIRD-PARTY LINKS AND SERVICES
Our website may link to websites or services operated by manufacturers, payment providers, delivery companies or other third parties.
We do not control those external services and are not responsible for their content, availability, privacy practices or separate terms. A link does not necessarily mean that we endorse every statement, product or service on the external website.
- PRIVACY
Personal data is handled according to our Privacy Policy and applicable Singapore data-protection law. By providing personal data, you acknowledge that it may be used to respond to enquiries, process transactions, arrange delivery, provide support and meet legal or business requirements.
Please read our Privacy Policy for further information.
- DISCLAIMER AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the website and its general informational content are provided on an “as available” basis. We do not guarantee that the website will always be uninterrupted, secure or free from errors.
Lachmi Enterprise will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, including loss of profit, revenue, business opportunity, anticipated savings, goodwill or data, arising from website use or a transaction, except where such liability cannot legally be excluded.
Where liability can legally be limited, our aggregate liability relating to a product or transaction will not exceed the amount paid to us for the affected product or transaction.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
- FORCE MAJEURE
We are not responsible for delay or failure caused by events outside our reasonable control, including natural disasters, severe weather, fire, epidemic, war, civil disturbance, government action, sanctions, export restrictions, customs delays, transport disruption, supplier failure, labour disruption, power failure, telecommunications failure or cyber incidents.
We will take reasonable steps to notify affected customers and resume performance when practicable.
- CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these Terms to reflect changes in law, technology, website functions or business practices. The latest version will be published on this page with the updated date.
The Terms applying to an accepted order will normally be those in effect when the order was accepted, together with any written quotation, invoice or agreement governing that order.
- SEVERABILITY AND WAIVER
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply.
A delay or failure by either party to enforce a right does not automatically waive that right.
- GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTES
These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore.
The parties should first attempt to resolve any dispute in good faith through direct communication. If a dispute cannot be resolved, it will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Singapore courts, unless the parties have agreed in writing to another dispute-resolution process.
Nothing in this section prevents a consumer from using any dispute-resolution or legal remedy available under applicable law.
